I really haven’t felt like writing at all. I am still in a dark, sucky place. I am trying to work my way out of the rabbit hole that I put myself in. Any-hoo, here are ten things that you don’t know about me (Actually, since I have never put myself out here-There are tons that you don’t know about me)

  1. Even though I was born in San Francisco, I grew across the Bay in Hayward. All my schooling was done in Hayward from K through college. I was made in Hayward, Ca in an education sense.

2. I haven’t read a fiction book in 30 years. I only read non-fiction.

3. I collect shot glasses from places I have been.

4. I love hanging out near the water. I am so lucky that I live in the Bay Area as I am close to water and the Pacific Ocean. I love that the school I teach at is about 2.5 miles away from the Pacific Ocean.

5. I am a big fan of NASCAR. Have been since I was about ten.

6. I spent four years in the U.S. Navy. Persian Gulf I Veteran

7. When it comes to politics, I am equal parts progressive and Paleolithic. I try to see both sides of an issue and make my own decisions. I don’t always agree with the left and I don’t always agree with the right.

8. If I can somewhere by public transit instead of driving, I will always take the public transit route. Not a big fan of driving. Hate being in traffic jams.

9. Love sitting in the third deck behind home plate at the Oakland Coliseum watching the A’s play. Love the Green and Gold.

10. Would rather be kind than right. Kindness is what makes the world go around.
